Rebecca B. Baker, BSN, RN, BSEd, is an experienced, savvy consultant who delivers results. Having been a leader in several value-based startup organizations, she founded Synergy 3C to support value-based healthcare organizations whose goal is to drive excellent clinical outcomes while realizing financial return. She specializes in clinical modeling for complex populations and has linked arms with seasoned consultants in other specific areas crucial to value-based care organizations. Rebecca pulls from a perfect storm of skills – leveraging 30 years’ experience in acute care and clinical nursing practice, clinical marketing and business development/strategy, training, contract negotiating, hiring and all levels of management. Her innovative ability and vast experience allows her to deliver the guidance her clients need to succeed. “Outside the box” is her favorite thinking zone, focusing on innovative solutions that drastically improve patient care outcomes while lowering the costs of care delivery. Her recent role in executive leadership as Chief Clinical Officer in a value-based startup company contributed to a successful acquisition. She has held other leadership roles including Director of Clinical Operations and Director of Learning and Development, Corporate Manager of Case Management Education, and manager of a 1900-bed tertiary hospital’s cardiac cath Interventional radiology labs. Formally trained as an educator, Rebecca has designed, developed, and implemented best-in-class clinical learning programs to drive business goals. She has also developed, implemented and/or led clinical programs which yielded 100% patient satisfaction and reduction in client cost drivers, including: • Total cost of care reduction • Reduction in admits per thousand • Reduction in Emergency Room visits Those who have worked with Rebecca say she’s “…smart, energetic, intuitive and passionate.
